I recently joined the Skywatch Friday blog list. I LOVE weather and how quickly it can change… and clouds are my favourite! This is my very out-of-date-order first entry.
On August 18, 2008 I was out at one my husband’s baseball games when a storm started rolling in near the end of the game. I camped out in my car to capture a few images (since it was pouring rain). When the rain lightened up a bit, I jumped back out of the car to get better sky photos.
I lightened this photo in Photoshop to show just how massive the clouds were! They were absolutely amazing, and they were moving so very fast across the sky.

Lisa, I apologize that I removed your link. The link went to a post that was not for SkyWatch Friday. I just found this one. I will put it back in for you.
In the future, please remember to check your link before you submit it.
Thank you so much for your participation. This is an INCREDIBLE shot of the sky!
Thank you!
And yes I will watch my links next time
Very ominous and dramatic. I think my favorite part of the whole photo is the way the red car really pops against that very blue and green background.
Ooh I love the red and blue car & van on the road too. Very striking. Great job lightening it, I wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t said anything.
thanks Haley & fragileheart! it does pop… I think because they were both soaked by the rain. I think in the rain is the best time to shoot anything now! lol
I like the red car against the backdrop…nice one
